We offer discounts for those who choose to register for multiple events.  Each event is a unique paddling experience, check out the individual event pages and the Past Event page to see what is available

FUNDRAISING

We are a fundraising event that donates all proceeds to a worthy cause.  For this reason SUFC has a minimum fundraising requirement of $100/paddler for participation.  

PRIZES

To encourage paddlers to exceed the fundraising minimum we have created generous Grand Prizes, check out our PRIZES page for more details

CASH DONATIONS

Sorry for the inconvenience but SUFC will no longer accept CASH from participants. Participants may collect cash and enter the values against a credit card. Donor names should be entered where a tax receipt is requested.  To assist you we have created a Pledge Collection Form, which you can download 

TAX RECEIPTS

Tax receipts issued by CHEO Foundation.

Minimum $20 donation is eligible for a tax receipt.

Participants must enter donor information in SUFC website for tax receipts. 

EVENT PACKAGES

You will receive a Fundraising Confirmation Certificate once you have met your minimum $100 fundraising requirement.   

Please present this Certificate to claim your event package.

Event pages indicate location and dates for event package pickup. 

CANCELLATION AGREEMENT

As for any outdoor event we have no control over the weather.  It is our goal to run a fun and safe event.  We will paddle through wind and rain, however if the conditions are deemed to be too dangerous we will cancel the event.  Participants will receive their event packages but we cannot offer a rain date due to the logistics involved. 

COMMUNICATION

SUFC will send registrants the following email notifications:

  • Confirmation of registration 
  • Receipts for credit card transactions
  • Fundraising Confirmation Certificate (at $100 milestone) 

EVENT WAIVER

All participants must agree to our event waiver as part of their registration. It is located on the registration form.
